As I walk down the corridor

The sadness set in

You thanked me for a great year
I wished you all the best in your future
Those were the last words we exchanged
How I longed to say "I'll miss you" instead

Finally...a podium finish. After 2 years of racing, and 6 months of training under coach, efforts have paid off.
